The lowdown on delivery.

Merchants of the sun offers complimentary shipping on all AU orders over $200AUD, on International orders over $250AUD and on all orders placed on our US site over $180USD. If your total is under our free shipping threshold, your delivery cost will be calculated at time of checkout.

Unfortunately we don't have a Flagship store internationally. We do however have a growing community of stockist, which you can find here.

Unfortunately we are unable to ship to PO boxes.

If you've input an old address or simply wish to add items to your order, you'll need to reach out to us ASAP via support@merchantsofthesun.com.au

We cannot guarantee that the order won't have already been processed, so please act quickly.

Returns & Exchanges

What to do if your order isn't quite right.

We offer FREE exchanges on all orders within 30 days of delivery.

We get it - some pressies just don't hit the mark. If you've received a Merchants piece as a gift, either proceed using our returns portal and the order deets, or reach out via support@merchantsofthesun.com and we'll work something out for you.

If you're purchasing for someone else, we are happy to offer an extended refund or exchange timeframe for all gift orders, as long as you notify us via email beforehand.

If you believe you have received an incorrect or faulty item we apologise and kindly ask that you please process a claim through our warranty portal. Otherwise, reach out to our amazing customer service team, support@merchantsofthesun.com.au.

If your ring is the wrong size, we are more than happy to complete an exchange in the right size for you, typically within 30 days.

ENGRAVING

For online orders, engraved orders will be dispatched within 2-3 business days. Please account for additional time when placing your order.

During busy periods this timeframe may increase.

All messages are engraved using our signature font, Acumin Pro. You are free to choose up to 10 characters for inside engraving, and up to 2 for face engravings.

The font is fine line, but we are open to reasonable request. Please contact our team on support@merchantsofthesun.com. au for any special request.

For inscriptions on the inside of a piece, there is room for up to 8 characters including spaces. For messages on the face of a signet or pendant, there is room for maximum 2 characters (such as initials). All latin characters are available, including punctuation symbols.

We love inside jokes and funny business, but the Merchants team retains discretion to reject engraving requests that contain excessively offensive, inappropriate or discriminatory content. If you’re not sure about the suitability of a particular message, we’re more than happy to assist.

Due to the personalised nature of engraved pieces, we don’t accept returns or exchanges for change of mind. These items are still recyclable, and you can still send them back as part of the Close The Loop program. To avoid delays or issues, please triple check your engraving request before placing an order.

We can’t guarantee that changes can be made after an order is placed. Reach out to our team ASAP if you notice a mistake, and be sure to carefully review the engraving request before finalising your order.

Our rings are exclusively crafted using the Lost Wax Casting Process, this method seamlessly integrates our signature branding and hallmarks into each design, enhanced by the inclusion of our signature oxidisation.

For personalised engravings, rest assured that our engraving machine meticulously carves them on the inside of the rings, between the branding and hallmarks.

No, all of our rings are handcrafted from 925 solid sterling silver. Your fingers will only turn green when wearing low-quality plated, brass or nickel based jewellery.

Absolutely! We encourage all salty dips with our jewellery as the saltwater does not affect your silver quality. However, you have to be wary that your hands shrink when they are in colder temperatures, so there is a chance that it might fall-off – keep your eyes peeled!

Definitely not! All of our rings are high-quality solid sterling silver which means your jewellery will not tarnish or deteriorate over time. However, they can oxidise when they come in to contact with harsh chemicals, which can be fixed with a quick rub from our signature Merchants polish cloth (included in all orders).
